$700 Radio Shipped Cheapest Possible Manner November 25, 2024 Reviewer: STEPHEN EDWARDS from Hayward, WI United States   I was mislead into believing this would ship UPS, and for $700 it should have come that way at the absolute minimum, instead I get a USPS tracking number, which is and will continue to be worthless right up to whenever it is delivered. It stated on receipt it would come UPS, $700 and absolutely no reliable tracking or due date! I ordered a $300 radio from Tecsun in Hong Kong, 72 hours later it was delivered to my door from Hong Kong! I shouldn't have to pay for any shipping upgrade, a $700 radio should have shipped to my door in that same 72 hour window, as it is, I won't see this for 10 days! Was this review helpful to you?

Disappointed September 16, 2024 Reviewer: Anonymous Person   I do not recommend buying the SDS200.  It does not have audio AGC.  If one side of a P25 conversation, for example, is barely audible and you use the channel volume offset function to be able to hear it, the originally normal-volume side of the conversation will be blasting loud.  This is very frustrating for a radio which costs so much money.  I disagree with the descriptions "world's most advanced scanner" and "top-notch performance".  No matter how amazing any other features are, they are not important if the audio is very unsatisfactory.  I am very disappointed with the SDS200. Best you can get.. August 1, 2024 Reviewer: Chad from Colorado   This Scanner is amazing. I had the 100 and wanted the 200. This unit has everything you could want and more. Speaker is also much better than the 100. As I reviewed the 100 I will also state the same issue that I've found with both Uniden SDS models. The filters that may or may not have to be used are awful to deal with, depending on your area. I spend a lot of time going through them. Sometime once a day sometime multiple times a day. I hope Uniden will create a firmware fix for this at some point, but time will tell. Other than that, it's an amazing unit. I enjoy mine and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. SDS200 Scanner and Setup / Programming July 31, 2024 Reviewer: spectrumwalker from NY, United States   SDS200 arrived ready to go; I just attached the antenna, ac adapter and turned it on. It started scanning the pre-programmed list right away. The ScannerMaster team did an excellent job at setting up my county preferences, updating the firmware and putting in the waterfall upgrade. 5/5 and would recommend to anyone thinking of buying a scanner. Just Plug It In April 29, 2022 Reviewer: Kenneth Edelstein from Lenoir, NC United States   Attach power cord & antenna; turn it on. I let them program it. I just turned it on and heard what I wanted. That's all I had to do. Spectacular results with NO effort. Do yourself a favor, let them program it - they are experts - you will have a "learning curve" going by yourself. No buyer’s remorse here June 8, 2021 Reviewer: Rev. Christopher Lack from Cincinnati, OH United States   I ordered my scanner on a Thursday afternoon and received it on Saturday, fully programmed! Fast delivery! It is everything I expected and more. There is a steep learning curve to fully understand and work all the potential this radio has, but I am looking forward to enjoying it. I have had to call a couple of times with questions, and one of their experts, Rich, has been most patient with me. This scanner is top notch and so is Scanner Master! New Uniden SDS 200 Base / Mobile Radio Scanner May 10, 2021 Reviewer: allstar from MI, United States   5-10-2021:  Re Uniden SDS 200: An excellent purchase experience from Scanner Master, with same day shipping.  The SDS 200 Is amazing, with the best digital decode I have experienced, so far.  This is my 5th digital scanner; my first was the Uniden BCD 796D, in 2005, and also have a BCD 996p2.  The new Uniden HP series is SO much easier to get started with.  It will take time, to refine it, and get your final configuration; but you will start off with lots of local reception, and it identifies the sources, rather than just providing a TGID. Great unit! August 22, 2019 Reviewer: Steve from NB Canada   Shipping time was great, unit is easy to use and program favorite lists with Sentinel. Micro SD card failed in less than 2 weeks, other than that, no other problems so far. Was this review helpful to you?
