Scanner Master can ship scanners and accessories just about anywhere in the world. However, Scanner Master DOES NOT ACCEPT RETURNS from ANY country outside North America. So before ordering you must make sure the product will work for you in your nation. Scanner Master has no knowledge of the radio systems (system types, frequency, band or channel plans) or of the local laws regarding communications monitoring outside of North America. If you are unsure we recommend that you consult or purchase from a local communications dealer. We are not familiar with nor can recommend any communications dealers outside of the United States and the U.K. Please see these additional notes below on Europe and Australia.
Customers outside of the United States are responsible for any Customs\Duty\Tax\Brokerage Fees which may be applied to their shipment or any national regulations regarding scanners or digital scanners which may apply in their country.
Scanners, even digital scanners, cannot receive cellular telephone communications.
EUROPE
Police communications (as well as most fire communications) across all of the United Kingdom and almost all of Europe are now on TETRA radio systems. TETRA uses a special encrypted digital protocol that CANNOT BE RECEIVED BY ANY SCANNER. We have no idea if there will ever be a scanner that will ever work with TETRA but we highly doubt it.
So if you’re thinking about buying a scanner to listen to police and/or fire departments in Europe, we would advise against it unless you are sure that your local departments are not using TETRA. Please do not ask us if they are. We have no knowledge of any radio systems overseas. You might check www.radioreference.com for some information but we can make no guarantees about the accuracy of the information.

AUSTRALIA
Many areas of Australia along the east and south coasts use trunking and digital radio systems, typically Motorola. However there are some differences in how the channel plan works Down Under as compared to the U.S. Also we understand more and more encryption is being used in Australia. Therefore, we have no knowledge if a scanner bought in the U.S. will work in Australia. Please do not ask us about use of scanners or radio systems in Australia. Canada Customers Only (other than government officials): A radio license must be obtained prior to possession and use of a digital scanner. Please check with government authorities for further information on this Canadian regulation.
