Made of Rugged Area 51 nylon this PRO-106 case provides protection against most falls (the bottom corners of the case are beefed-up with extra padding to prevent fall damage) and yet it doesn't have the bulkiness of a hard-leather case. The case includes a protective plastic covering over the keypad with full access to all keys and a belt clip that easily snaps over your belt for security.

Designed specifically for the RadioShack PRO-106 scanner, this rugged Area 51 nylon case protects the PRO-106 from scratches, fingerprints and most falls. A clear plastic window covers both the scanner display and the keypad which prevents screen smudges and helps protect against the rain. Keypresses are easily made through the plastic. Holes for the speaker grille are provided for clear audio. Holes for re-charging power and PC interface are supplied.

The case is designed with a simple belt clip that snaps down and locks in over a belt or even inside a pocket. While the PSR-300 scanner fits snugly inside the case, the case also has been designed with a short bungee cord that wraps around the BNC connector of the scanner's rubber-duck antenna to provide extra security against the scanner slipping from the case itself. A snap for this cord can be quickly undone if the cord is not desired.

Click on the larger photo button to see both a bigger image as well as an image of the backside of the case include the belt clip.

Nice Case! May 5, 2013
Reviewer: Tom Wille from IN
Really nice case for the money! I can address the issue about removing the scanner from this case. It is a tight fit so here is how I remove it. Grab the top of the case and push up on the bottom of the case. When the scanner comes up, squeeze the bottom sides of the case. Should come out easily then. No need to try and pull the scanner out by the antenna.

Real excited about this case, but. June 29, 2011
Reviewer: Dan Scott from Glennville, GA United States
This case seems perfect for the PRO-106 that I just purchased, since the casing on the unit is REALLY REALLY cheap plastic! However, it seems to me that by the time you have Scannermaster ship it to you, you nearly pay the MSRP by the time you pay the shipping. (More if you use UPS) So be prepared to pay more like $27.00 instead of $19 and some change.

Pro 106 nylon holster April 29, 2011
Reviewer: Horry Radio Man from Loris, SC United States
Better than I expected. Top quality stitching. Top quality padding (dense) all around the scanner and reinforced on the bottom. However there is a problem with this case I found after using it daily. The scanner is so snug that it requires a lot of pulling force to get it out. This could potentially cause problems with people who pull on their antenna connection to get it out. The case needs to be a bit bigger than it is to allow for easy removal of the scanner. This nylon case is a near perfect case and I give it an average rating due to the potential for someone to damage their scanner by trying to remove it, a little more care should have gone into the dimensions of manufacturing the case.

carry case March 5, 2011
Reviewer: John Tomlinson from Blackwell, TX United States
This is the best built carry case made in nylon I have ever had. It fits great and really protects my 106 perfectly. Programming is performed easily with the plastic window over the buttons. This one is worth your money folks !
