After having success with my ARC500 software, I purchased the XT version for my new 996xt.
The software has lots of little bugs and problems. Complaints to the Blutel folks are shrugged off as if users are stupid for not understanding their cryptic software.
There are too many problems to post here, but one of my favorites is;
When you go to save all of your programming that you have been typing away for several hours, the program does not just SAVE. You have to go through a convoluted process to actually get it to save the data. And if you mess up, the program will allow itself to be closed without ANY warning that you are going to lose something. All programs written in the last 10 years give this warning. Very frustrating to lose hours worth of work. BLutel says I have to go into some saving setup where I can pick something to save certain objects somewhere. It seems like a Rube Goldberg machine for such a simple task.
