Q: Can scanner programming be updated later?
A: Yes. Scanner programming often needs updates over time as radio systems, frequencies, and talkgroups change. Many scanners can be reprogrammed or updated using software, database imports, or professional programming services to keep them working properly in your area.
*Some exceptions apply, call for details. Unless otherwise requested, Scanner Master will program all frequencies found in the counties requested. Discount is applied to the first county selected for programming, additional discounts are available for each subsequent county requested. Programming discounts only apply to scanners bought with programming combined on the same order from Scanner Master. Scanner Master will program scanners previously purchased but customers must pay for shipping of the scanner to and from the Scanner Master facility in Massachusetts. Please allow 7-10 business days for delivery of scanners bought with programming (including HomePatrol). Previously purchased scanners that are sent to Scanner Master will take as long as four weeks for return delivery.
