Frequently Asked QuestionsQ: Does the SR30C work right out of the box?
A: Yes. The scanner comes pre-programmed with common service bands, so you can start listening right away without any setup.

A: Close Call RF Capture automatically detects very strong nearby radio signals and tunes to them, making it easy to find local activity without knowing the frequency.
Q: Do I need to program frequencies into the scanner?
A: No, programming is optional. You can use the preloaded service bands, but you can also manually store up to 500 frequencies if you want more customized listening.
Q: What types of channels can I listen to?
A: The SR30C covers a wide range of analog communications including NOAA weather alerts, aviation, marine, railroad, NASCAR, and local emergency services.
