Made of Rugged Area 51 nylon this PRO-106/651/WS 1040 case provides protection against most falls (the bottom corners of the case are beefed-up with extra padding to prevent fall damage) and yet it doesn't have the bulkiness of a hard-leather case. The case includes a protective plastic covering over the keypad with full access to all keys and a belt clip that easily snaps over your belt for security.
Designed specifically for the RadioShack PRO-106/651 scanner, this rugged Area 51 nylon case protects the PRO-106/651 from scratches, fingerprints and most falls. A clear plastic window covers both the scanner display and the keypad which prevents screen smudges and helps protect against the rain. Keypresses are easily made through the plastic. Holes for the speaker grille are provided for clear audio. Holes for re-charging power and PC interface are supplied.
The case is designed with a simple belt clip that snaps down and locks in over a belt or even inside a pocket. While the PSR-300 scanner fits snugly inside the case, the case also has been designed with a short bungee cord that wraps around the BNC connector of the scanner's rubber-duck antenna to provide extra security against the scanner slipping from the case itself. A snap for this cord can be quickly undone if the cord is not desired.
