Basics   ARC-Pocket software (Pocket PC2002/2003 software for Uniden BC785D/BC796D). This is the software only and is for controlling the 785/796 scanners located very close to the Pocket PC. The user must operate the volume and squelch controls directly on the radio (and also the VFO knob on the 785). There is no PC control of these functions with this software-only package. For the full remote control package see the ARC Pocket kit located elsewhere in this section. With the RSC2 kit you can build your Uniden bc785/796 safely in the trunk of your vehicle and use your pocket PC to control your scanner, the kits includes all parts to build an external volume/squelch control (no soldering, nor drilling required!) RSC2 kit contents: - ARC-pocket Pocket PC2002/2003 virtual control software External Volume/squelch control kit containing: - Original Uniden volume/squelch control mounted on pcb - Original Uniden volume/squelch knobs - 15 feet special shielded cable for external volume/squelch control - PCB connectors are already mounted : no soldering! - Original Uniden pre-drilled bottom cover for external volume/squelch control: no drilling!
