This low-cost discone antenna solution covers all bands from 25 - 1300 MHz for scanners/receive. It can also be used for transmit at 144, 220, 440, 900 and 1290 amateur radio bands. SO-239 termination requires cable with a PL259 on one end.

This antenna requires one of the following coax cables to connect from the antenna to the scanner. Choose your desired length from the Accessories list below.

Very poor directions. I do not know how far to screw the parts into the base. I have a cheap Radio Shack antenna that picks up with in 25 miles. This does not pick up at all. More directions would be nice
