The SportSync was initially conceived many years ago as a way to watch sports on TV but listen to the radio call of the game. Years ago you could turn the sound down on your TV and turn up the radio to hear the usually more informative and local call of your favorite team radio announcers. But in the last twenty years or so, as most people have switched to cable and satellite television, the delays built-in to these advance TV transmission modes have resulted in the radio calls of games running well in advance of the TV broadcast. (So you would hear on your radio, for example, "Strike three!" before the pitcher even threw the pitch on TV.) Scanner Master originally developed the SR-101 to solve this problem and it was a smash hit. We were the toast of Chicago sports when the Cubs were especially hot years ago and we were highlighted on WGN radio as well as on other broadcasts. We upgraded from eight to sixteen seconds of delay with the SR-202 and now the SR-303 is available, just introduced at the end of 2015. The new SportSync is better than ever with great big sound, battery life and reception. The new model includes AM-FM and even Shortwave radio, a clock with alarm, snooze and more.
