I love the REMTRONIX antennas! I am not disappointed. This is perfect for the application I use it for listening to those frequencies.

I purchased this antenna expecting something decent, as all Remtronix products are, but this one has surprised me, I'm actually picking up conventional transmissions that I never could with the Comet SMA-24 that I got with the scanner to try out, and I've had experience with the Remtronix version of the popular 800MHz antenna, but this thing is just blowing my mind with how much further it's reach is with the SDS100, it has a perfect fit and seal for the SDS100, if this antenna ever gives out on you, best believe I'm coming right back for another one, it may be listed as a UHF/800MHz dual band but it actually does good on CB, MURS, FRS/GMRS, and air band, I normally couldn't pull in the ATC talking from their RCAGs, but now I can, as well as the near by tower for the airport/air reserve base as well, this really does improve on frequency bands you normally would be sacrifice on with the SDS100, but as I can't say enough, this thing is the be-all-end-all for on set antennas.
