This soft glove-leather case has been designed specifically for the RadioShack PRO-106/651 which literally fits like-a-glove inside this product. The case comes with a plastic cover that protects the scanner against scratches on the radio and smudges on the display. The case includes a swivel belt clip that you can easily attach and detach from your belt by pivoting the radio and case upside down and removing it from the clip that remains attached to the belt, public-safety style.
Using a public-safety style design, the case comes in two parts. The swivel clip is snapped onto your belt (using a fixed clip) and then the case itself snaps down onto the clip. If you want to remove the radio from your belt you simply swivel the radio, in the case, upside down and gently pull up. This allows you to pull the radio off your belt easily but leave it in the case. For all other designs using the belt loop style, you must either remove the entire case from your belt or you must pull the radio out of the case (which you leave on your belt) to remove the radio.
Openings in the leather allow easy access to all keys, speaker grilles, top and side audio and computer jacks. An optional small bungee strap is provided for extra security against the radio accidentally slipping out of the case. The cord is wrapped around the bottom of the rubber-duck antenna but the cord can easily be removed by if so desired.
