great scanner
awsome scanner easy to program great reception with upgraded antenna has great battery life if you get rechargable ones wish it could be upgraded to digital

Not metro area-friendly
Very unfriendly in large metropolis, cannot follow APCO-25, easy to switch frequencies but hard to switch TGs. Can hold 1,000 freqs, 1,500 TGs and 150 TGs/bank. Only one TRS per bank. EDACS networked systems must be entered into separate banks which manual didn't say!If you live in a large metropolis, then STAY AWAY FROM THIS PIECE OF $**T. Get a Uniden DMA instead.
