RadioShack Hard Leather Case/Swivel Belt Loop

this is a very nice well built sturdy hard case for your radio..and well worth the price......i love it!

I purchased a Whistler 1040 scanner and searched for a case. Found Scanner/Master website and found the case. Purchased it, and it fit the scanner perfectly. Unfortunately the scanner was defective, so I had to return it. I upgraded to a Uniden BCD436HP and contacted Scanner/Master. Excellent customer service as I just ordered the same case for my new scanner. If the new case is anything like

Seems to be very well built. Fits the Whistler 1040 like a glove (with the 1040's built-in belt clip removed). The fit is tight enough that there is no way the Whistler will slide out accidentally - indeed, it takes a little work to get it out of the case. Yes, it is a little bulky, particularly because of the belt loop attachment (but also simply because it's a pretty solid case). You can separate the case from the belt loop part, though (just invert the case, and it slides right out; it will slide back in without being inverted, and there is a spring clip that makes it stay in place). I'll post an update if I experience any issues with it, but this seems like a good case if you don't mind the bulkiness.

This is as good as it gets. Professional quality and built like a tank.

I like it keeps my Pro106 from being beat up. Use on belt and it fit on desk stand as well would recommend.
