3" magnet mount kit pre-wired with 12' RG58 cable and BNC connector. Designed to handle antennas with Motorola type TAD and TAE, 1 - 1/8" 18 thread connection. Note: Does not work with Comtelco Antenna.
Upon arrival, the supplied BNC connector on this magnet mount would not fit any of my scanners. I didn't want to force it, and I didn't feel like sending it back, so I replaced the supplied connector with another one in my collection of miscellaneous radio junk, and it now works perfectly. The packaging didn't appear to be damaged in any way, so I don't really know what the problem was. Your mileage may vary if the bad fit was due to some problem specific to that one piece of equipment. The magnet is strong, the NMO mount fits my various NMO antennas well, and the cable seems very durable.

solid product
this base was larger than I wanted but it performs well. Very strong magnet and well built. I highly recommend this item

magnet mount
Works fine,where coax goes into the mount,it is not sealed for weather.Comes with 12ft of coax,which ended up being 2ft short for my station wagon.

Great Mag Mount
Well made, with strong magnet, good quality and long coax, and well soldered connector with strain relief. Works well with any small to medium size VHF/UHF antenna.
