HomePatrol 2 March 15, 2016 Reviewer: J Morgan from Florence, MS United States   I have owned a couple of scanners in the past but none has had the clarity as the HP2. I love the touch screen and the simple programming.  I was amazed at how many frequencies that it picks up in just a short range. Uniden Home Patrol - 2 January 19, 2016 Reviewer: Joseph Cordasco from Hamilton, NJ United States   I was not impressed. This scanner has poor quality digital audio and the receiver sensitivity on VHF band is very poor.  I would rank this scanner at a 4 at best , compared to Whistler scanners which I would rank at 10+ .   Uniden should start being honest about their published receiver specifications . Home Patrol 2 Scanner December 1, 2015 Reviewer: David from VA from , Springfield VA   Scanner performance is good. Advanced features work good. Charging is a chore via the USB port. Uniden HomePatrol-2 Scanner August 6, 2015 Reviewer: JOHN Ferguson from Redford,, MI United States   I really like my Uniden HomePatrol-2 Scanner, It picks up my zip code 48240 nicely but when I try to listen to my next door neighbor 48154 Livonia which is 3 miles away I sometimes see activity but the voice or sound does not come through why can't I hear this zip code. When I called about my  SpectrumForce Wideband Antenna with Mag Mount and SMA for a problem that was taken care of right away thanks, I asked the technician about the 48154 zip he told me to increase the range but it still will not work please help. Good Radio, Strange shape/size April 14, 2015 Reviewer: BobF from OKC, OK United States   I like this radio, the alpha-numeric display of channel info and the link to radioreference.com. The receiver sensitivity is less than expected also I wish the display showed the frequency of each hit.  When it stops on "state police, troop a, dispatch.. i would like to see what frequency and site the radio is using.   The radio is kinda pricy, a lot pricy, and size and shape is strange.  The plastic stand is cheap and slides around when you try to make keyboard entries. Also it would be nice if it had a 'priority' button to interrupt scanning or holding on a channel when traffic exists on my favorite/home channel. Lack of sensitivity and price are my main complaints. Was this review helpful to you?

Home Patrol 2 Scanner: February 27, 2015 Reviewer: Rory Stevens from Oxnard, CA United States   I received this new Scanner ,programed all my Favorites into this Scanner the Radio is great ! small compact unit fits very well in my small car and on a wall mount i have place in my office i monitor everything and this small scanner radio runs very well Receives Very Well here in the Ventura County Area.i have no complaints about this little Scanner. Easy to use February 27, 2015 Reviewer: Anonymous Person   Unlike a programmable, it loads the entire data base for your selected area every time you boot it. Unless you temporarily disable everything you don't  want to listen to, it will scan through until it reaches your "favorite"which you then have to lock. Still getting used to it.
