Basics   This lightweight case protects the HomePatrol from scratches and it also protects the HomePatrol screen from dust, scratches and smudges as the case includes a clear plastic window. The case has a snap flap at the top and includes access holes for the antenna, power and other jacks on either side of the radio. Good...could have been better! March 18, 2016 Reviewer: Bill Youngquist from Des Moines, IA United States   It's a 'good fit.'  The only 'negative' is the rivets which ultimately could come in direct contact with the surface of the scanner scratching or at least marring it.  The inner top flap should have been sewn in instead of riveted.   I don't know how the leather version is made but I didn't realize it was available when I ordered the nylon.  If I had, that's what I would have purchased. A nice case for the Uniden HP-2 March 26, 2015 Reviewer: CJ Sparrow from CO United States   I like this case, though I do find it a bit of a very tight fit when putting the scanner in the case and taking it out. The plastic will stick to the scanner body and screen. However, considering how much the scanner costs, this is a minor inconvenience to protect my investment. Was this review helpful to you?
