5 of 5 High Performance December 8, 2019
Reviewer: Robert Giebel from Ormond Beach, FL
I monitor a simulcast system.  Being at the northern edge of the county, my back of set antenna was OK but had a lot of noise due to low signal capture.  The Terrawave Yagi was everything promised, and more.  The forward gain is outstanding.  It took simulcast signals from one bar to five bars when mounted just 15 AGL.  Front to back ratio is excellent.  So, if you want to monitor in multiple directions, you'll need either multiple antennas or a rotor system.  I would fully recommend this antenna to take your receive signal quality to a new level.

5 of 5 Yagi Antenna December 1, 2014
Reviewer: KG7KFI from Gilbert, AZ United States
Single best purchase I have made in a long time. This antenna works wonders on 800Mhz trunked digital systems. I was using an RS discone and it offered dismal performance. I live in the suburbs of Phoenix and the Regional Wireless System would not even be detected by the RS discone antenna. With this antenna the signal is crystal clear with no hint of fading or digital distortion. If you scan 800Mhz digital trunked systems this is the best investment you can make. I recommend using low loss coax it's worth the extra $$.

5 of 5 My first yagi June 25, 2012
Reviewer: Don Adams from Sacramento, CA United States
Well gotta admit didn't expect much from this antenna but holy smokes this thing works killer. All my 800mhz trunking is rock solid, already looking into a VHF yagi and some rotators. Coming from RS discones, and that other RS antenna- no comparison. Gotta also say I switched to LMR400DB@60', and the temporary mount is 1' off the front porch so can't wait till this thing is fully mounted on the chimney mount. Why'd I wait so long to try this? I also found my reception better than the Radio Reference Live feed for my area.
