Improve Home/Office Reception

Looking to improve the reception on your scanner? By placing an antenna on the outside of your home/office you will see a huge improvement.

Selecting Antenna
There are so many options for base antennas, you can go with a single band or wideband antenna. Single band antennas will work well on one band, such as VHF, UHF, or 800MHz. If you're like most you are monitoring multiple bands, I would strongly recommend a wideband antenna. Our most popular wideband base antenna is the WBD-40 Discone. The WBD-40 is ideal for monitoring everything from public safety, railroading air bands, and more. Antenna Mounting Gear
Once you have antenna selected, you will need to find the best suited mount for your antenna and structure. We carry three types of base mounts: wall, tripod, and non-penetrating roof mounts. - Check out all the options

Coax Cable
Your brand new antenna is only as good as the coax cable leading up to it! We carry low loss LMR-400 Coax Cable in 25, 50, 75 and 100 feet lengths. Plan out the shortest coax route and leave a little extra but not too much. Remember to measure twice, order once.
