I just
wanted to let you know the remote head adapter kit for the Uniden 780 is great.
It is fairly simple to install and it allows the installation of a scanner when
there was no other solution. There simply was no way to neatly mount a scanner
in a Chevrolet Tahoe. Now with the remote head, it is perfect. Thank you very
much.
The head is mounted using four 3" velcro strips. The radio is
mounted in the void area of the console under the drink holder. The drink
holder pulled out giving easy access and plenty of room to work. an amplified
external speaker was neatly mounted under the dash for the sound. Again, thank
you for the product.
