Just got this mount the other day, and placed it on the windshield on the driver side.. simply stated, holds tight, no vibration, no shaking, works like a charm .. good quality mount absolutely recommend it if you want to take your home patrol on a ride with you..

This mount is AWSOME.... Rugged, strong and stable. My HP1 is safe and secure in my truck. Get-cha 1. You want be sorry. Well worth the money.

It's a RAM Mount, there is no better mount in my Utility opinion. Mounted to a disc on the dash it is absolutely solid.

I used this to mount my HP-1 in a 2011 Impala. I was able to mount in in the lower center of the windshield with 1/2" of clearance from the dash. The HP-1 did not obstruct my field of view and the HP-1 never moved, vibrated, etc.
It was my intention to just use this mount when I traveled in my non-primary vehicle, but after what I saw on my road test, I am rethinking this and may make it my primary mount.
