I have a Radio Shack Pro 96 Digital trunking scanner. I had the rubber duckie antenna that came with the scanner, a metal telescoping antenna, and an 800 mhz antenna all from Radio Shack. None of those antennas have performed as well as this antenna. I would definitely get another one of these antennas. Great antenna and well worth the price. It also looks good with the lower part of the antenna covering most of the silver antenna connector.

I LOCKED THIS ANTENNA ON AND IT WAS LIKE NIGHT & DAY! EVEN OUR LOCAL AIRPOIRT, THAT WASN'T MUCH MORE THAN A "HISS" BEFORE WAS 10X10!
All around great portable antenna
