This case offers some protection, but not much functionality. The scanner does not fit inside the case properly, unlike what the picture shows. The top part of the display is cut off and the top row of buttons are right up against the seam, making it difficult to use. It's also hard to use the USB cable since the side opening is down too far. If you're just looking for something to slide the scanner into to protect it for storage or travel, then it will work alright for that purpose, but you would think that they would at least give us a case that actually fits the scanner the way it should.
