RH96 Remote Head

I have 3 of them in use. One in my work car that controls a remote mounted BCT-15, another in my personal auto that controls a BCT-15 and one near my bed that controls a 346xt.
The ones I have mounted in my vehicles work great. I didn't have room to mount the BCT-15 scanners where I could have easy access to the controls, so I mounted the scanners under the seat and have the remote head within easy reach.
The remote head bracket can be mounted virtually anywhere either with screws or with velcro. The velcro makes it easier to detach the remote head and hide it when the vehicles are parked.
The remote heads offer full control of the scanners EXCEPT powering the actual scanner. If you power off the knob on the remote head, it does NOT turn off the scanner. The scanner itself must be turned on or off manually. I have mine hooked up to the cigarette lighter circuit. That way the scanner automatically turns on when the car is on and off when I turn the car off.
