good manual to have April 9, 2014 Reviewer: MARK from HOUSTON, TX United States   This book was helpful, but not as helpful as the other "easier to read" manuals that I have bought in the past. The index needs to be better and have more entries in the index. This is a complex scanner, the new Uniden (at least for some us),and I need all the help I can get even though I'm figuring it all out now. There just wasn't a whole lot of difference between the instruction manual that came with the scanner and this easier to read one. Was this review helpful to you?

easier owners manual/instructions guide March 3, 2014 Reviewer: Rory Stevens from Oxnard, CA United States   I reviewed this book,I did find it much easier to understand then the one provided with the BCD 436HP/BCD536HP,UNIDEN Could have saved some money had they had taken the time to print a booklet such as this guide in the first place and put that in the box with this new Scan- ner ,i have also found that the soft leather case that was made for the Pro106 Radio Shack scanner fits the BCD436HP It Fits Loose but much better then not having protection at all until the new cases become available.
