BCD436HP January 26, 2015 Reviewer: Patrick Spencer from Sunnyvale, CA United States   I love the programing qualities of the BCD436HP.  They are so simple to program just prepare a favorites list and with the software programed into the scanner and the frequencies also programed its easy. I do not like the zip code feature because it puts data into the scanner I can't control or use.  You also don't need to buy any additional software since the software included does a good job.  We purchased it and it was a complete waste of money.  There are to many restrictions programed into the software that stop you from using it the way you want. SAVE your Money!! Plus you can't get your money back, waste of money.  The sales verbiage  tells you it can do so much more then the program in the scanner but it's not true.  Love the scanner.  Patrick   Was this review helpful to you?

Good Solid Case But... January 22, 2015 Reviewer: D.Forty from St Petersburg, FL United States   This is a substantial protective case but the clear plastic is so shiny that it's impossible to see through the glare. You can even see this in the picture of the item. When they photographed it for the ad the photographer could not even get a clear picture of it because of the glare from the clear plastic they used. The case should have been made with a non-glare type vinyl and it would have been a perfect case. Was this review helpful to you?

Very High Quality! December 26, 2014 Reviewer: Thomas Marcum from Holden, WV United States   I am very pleased with this case.  Fits the BCD436HP like a glove!  This case is as heavy duty and high quality as what I used to carry my police radio in when I was in law enforcement.  Well worth the money.  I also have a soft leather case for my BCD396XT and the belt clips are interchangeable, the belt clip that came with this radio will work with the soft leather case and the belt loop that came with the soft leather case will work with this case, so that is also a plus.  This case does have the hole for the alert light also.  If you have a BCD436HP you need this case!  I would also recommend this type of case for any other radio that it is made for. Uniden BCD436HP Hard Leather Case November 15, 2014 Reviewer: Mark MacLeod from Hoffman Estates, IL United States   Bought the hard leather case for better protection over the soft leather and it's everything I envisioned.  Protects the scanner well, sturdy belt clip with quality material and workmanship.  Delivery was fast too. Missing Leather Belt Loop July 30, 2014 Reviewer: David Whitten from Waco, TX United States   In my opinion, this is a well-constructed leather case.  The vinyl cover is pliable and soft as opposed to the other leather case I once purchased for a GRE digital.  Instead of being stiff & difficult to press the keys, this case is finger-friendly.  I have yet to drop this radio, but if I do, I won't worry.  With the 436, there is now a two-pronged attack on clumsiness, the rubber sides on this radio and this protective case.  Bravo! good quality case April 24, 2014 Reviewer: MARK LAIRSON from HOUSTON, TX United States   this is a good case to buy for your new Uniden Scanner. I actually ended up taking mine down to my Shoe Repairman who does leather work and customized it to my liking.
