Laird Multi-Band Mobile Antenna October 9, 2014
Reviewer: michael watson from Franklin, NC United States
I have used this antenna for several years connected to my BC996XT mobile scanner. It gives a strong, gain signal on VHF, UHF and 700/800, which covers all the bands I usually monitor. It does have an oversized base but its performance more than offsets that. I highly recommend it for some great scanning!!

Laird Antenna Review September 6, 2014
Reviewer: Dave Gaiewski from Scituate, RI United States
This antenna is well worth the price.  I have been looking for antenna that maximizes reception for VHF/UHF & 800.  I have tried several manufacurer's and this is the best.  The base load is rather large and doesn't fit well on the newer magnetic mounts.  But permanent mount with an NMO mount is perfect
