The AAF-2002 adjustable Audio Filter for noise reduction has been produced, taking into careful consideration the following objectives:

Passive filter design. No DC power required allowing for full mobility

Low internal attenuation (loss). Low DC resistance. Special power type inductors allow up to 5 Watts of audio power through the filter

Fully isolated 2 pole by-pass switch

A choice of filter combinations for noise reduction on AM, NFM, SSB, CW, etc.

To be compatible with standard communications loudspeaker impedance of 4-8 ohms with no instability as well as use with higher impedance headphones

Standard 3.5mm diameter speaker socket and 3.5mm diameter plug

The AAF-2002 audio filter is connected in between the external loudspeaker or headphone socket of a transceiver or receiver, etc., and an external loudspeaker or headphone which is connected to the audio filter.
