I have used two of these antennas now, one at my house outside of Philadelphia and one at my office in a more rural location and the results are Outstanding, better than a discone. This is a rugged, good looking, professional antenna. Excellent performance on all bands. I don't understand anyone who doesn't like this antenna----it's that good.

Not worth the money

I bought this antenna. I loved it at first but in about 3/4 of a year's time there was a loss of signal in the 400mhz range. I reverted back to my old Antenna Specialist Mon-31 with 100% improvements.

poor performance

Tested outside the city with no strong interference around. The results for a hundred dollar discone with band pass filters are 20-30 per cent better than with Ferret. Tested both with and without preamplifier. It's not worth spending that amount of money.
