Sales Engineer
Holliston, MA
Scanner Master, now located in our new office building in Holliston, MA, is looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team. Qualified candidates must possess a unique combination of skills for the position including: a Ham license (General or above preferred), a strong proficiency in RF engineering including the ability to bench test, evaluate and even perform minor upgrade/repair of radios, antennas and other equipment, an ability to manage small-scale radio product production, and assist with mobile installations. The candidate will outfit and manage our assembly room with RF test gear and therefore must have experience with this equipment. A proficiency in computer hardware and software installation/loading/testing is also required. The candidate should also have a strong understanding and affinity for scanners and be comfortable assisting our customers with the product, although this is a secondary role. The Sales Engineer will primarily be tasked, on the sales side, with assisting with the marketing and selling to government, news media and other commercial customers on Scanner Master's unique multi-scanner control, remote-monitoring and our other hardware and software communications platforms and products. The Sales Engineer will also be tasked with production, installation, training and customer service for this equipment and this will require some travel around the country including to both customer sites and to trade shows. Experience and comfort in selling to commercial, media and government accounts, particularly communications products, a major plus.
Hours: 24 hours a week with possibility hours will increase to full time
Compensation: TBD, commensurate with experience.

Customer Service Rep/Order Processor
Holliston, MA
Full-time CSR wanted, 40 hours a week. Looking for a reliable internet order processor for our mail order department. Learn the ropes of a growing Internet business. Responsibilities include communicating with customers by telephone and email. A knowledge of and experience with scanners, particularly Uniden Bearcat and GRE brands and an understanding and appreciation of radio communications, is highly desirable. Experience in mobile installation of radio, GPS and other electronics also useful.

Qualifications of the Position:
- One years work experience in administrative or customer service related field, or combination of knowledge, skills and experience
- Phone experience required
- Preferred completion of some post secondary education
- Ability to handle multiple tasks within a changing environment
- Excellent communication skills and verbal and written, and interpersonal skills
- Extraordinary, courteous and helpful customer service, organizational and time management skills
- Excellent decision-making and problem resolution skills
- Good general computer experience required, including email and internet
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Maintains high standards in customer service, professionalism, and store presentation
- Cooperates & communicates with other employees, willingly accepts direction and guidance from supervisors
- Shows initiative, awareness of office priorities and lots of flexibility
- Must be punctual, reliable, and able to prioritize tasks
- Experience with scanner radios a major plus
