Scanner Master, now located in our new office building in Holliston, MA, is looking for a full-time Sales Engineer to join our team. Qualified candidates must possess a unique combination of skills for the position including: a Ham license (General or above preferred), a strong proficiency in RF engineering including the ability to bench test, evaluate and even perform minor upgrade/repair of radios, antennas and other equipment, an ability to manage small-scale radio product production, and assist with mobile installations. The candidate will outfit and manage our assembly room with RF test gear and therefore must have experience with this equipment. A proficiency in computer hardware and software installation/loading/testing is also required. The candidate should also have a strong understanding and affinity for scanners and be comfortable assisting our customers with the product, although this is a secondary role. The Sales Engineer will primarily be tasked, on the sales side, with assisting with the marketing and selling to government, news media and other commercial customers on Scanner Master's unique multi-scanner control, remote-monitoring and our other hardware and software communications platforms and products. The Sales Engineer will also be tasked with production, installation, training and customer service for this equipment and this will require some travel around the country including to both customer sites and to trade shows. Experience and comfort in selling to commercial, media and government accounts, particularly communications products, a major plus.
Hours: 40 hours a week

Scanner Master Police Scanners has open a Sales and Marketing Manager position at its offices in Natick, MA. Interested candidates must have a college degree and a minimum of five years experience in sales and/or marketing. A strong preference will be for candidates who have experience and knowledge of radio communications and/or selling and marketing to the following customers: federal, state, county and local governments; police, fire, EMS, EMA and other public safety agencies; the news media; radio communications dealers.
Candidate will be required to demonstrate strong verbal and written skills. An ability to work with computer programs to design marketing pieces a major plus. Ability to multi-task and an eagerness to sell pitch business and close deals critical. A fondness and understanding of scanners, and some capability to do sales engineering work extremely helpful. Some travel will also be required.
